I wrote an article on SET that was published in the summer issue of The Canadian Friend. Written for The Religious Society of Friends, better known as Quakers, The Canadian Friend is a national magazine published three times a year.
The article is from my Quaker perspective which identifies the Light in each human being. This perspective makes all humans equal and encourages each of us to help attain human rights for all.
Although SET has no affiliation with religion, it shares an emphasis on the right to education for Togolese children. A belief in the importance of their future is what motivates the volunteers and directors of SET to keep working on their vision: “to have all primary students in SET schools, starting at grade 1, receive a quality education which will allow them to blossom in all dimensions of their lives.”

I read the article about building schools in Togo. What a wonderful initiative, making a huge difference for the children of Togo.
